Clarion Alley

On Whit: Gap 1969 Denim Jacket, Style Stalker Cats Eye Skirt, Aritzia Crop Top, Superga Sneakers, Coach Crossbody
On Mal: H&M Dress, Klub Nico Clary booties, Pour La Victoire Bag

Photos by Brittany of Work It Berk

Last week we were reunited with fellow Berkeley alum (and street style/foodie blogger) Brittany.  We snapped these photos in Clarion alley...which if you have never been, we recommend. The alley is full of murals on either side (we were unfortunately limited to one side of the alley for lighting reasons). On  rare occasions you can see an amateur rap music video shot there.

Go check her blog for her other profiles of SF bay area bloggers, or if you feel like reading a little more about us

Tassels

On Mal: H&M Wide-Cut Top Sweatshirt (they aren't kidding with the 'wide-cut', this is an xs), Tobi Back to the Twenties Dress, DIY distressed Denim (original jeans from GAP), Forever 21 Metallic Pointed Loafers, Pour la Victoire Bag

Photos by Rene

When I was meeting up with Rene, I warned him I might look a little weird.
"I am wearing a giant sweatshirt, over a dress."
"okay.."
"...with pants."
"Are you trying to wear every single item of clothing?"

When he actually saw me he said that it actually didn't look as weird as he thought it would, because the sweatshirt and the tassels look like one piece (which is what I was going for. I knotted the straps to make the dress shorter).

I had originally wanted to wear the dress as a dress (no pants) peeking out from under a sweater, but decided the proportions of an oversize sweater and knotted pieces of string looked off. And also I get cold.

Shopping Guide: Sneakers

Mal: I am going to Japan with my family on a trip in April (the first time for a lot of us!).  Since we will be doing a lot of walking, my sisters and I have been on the hunt for some cute and comfy sneakers. Trolling Asos came up with a ton of viable options...although I am still considering customizing some Nike iDs.
