This week we met with a couple of Stanford design students to talk about a bag they had designed. At one point, they asked us what we had in our bags that day. Whitney had luckily just cleaned hers out, but I had 6 months of CVS receipts squirreled away.  I always stuff them in my bag with the intention of using the coupons later...but I neither go to CVS often enough to redeem, nor do I use the same bag consistently, so they just stay in my bags for eternity...I think they were horrified. They even took a photo.

Gothic Castle

If it weren't for the leather jacket, this outfit would basically feel like pajamas.  There is nothing more comfortable than a good tee shirt and stretch jersey, amiright?

You might remember this skirt from this post on Whit. I have been jealous of hers all this time, so I was happy to finally find one! I decided to get it in gray to make it more casual so I could wear it in the day and not feel too dressed up (which is why I also paired it with a tee {that and so I wouldn't look like a vampire with so many dark colors}). I might be a little late on the whole draped skirt trend, but better late than never, right?

Blustered

I took Peanut out for a walk/photoshoot and it was way windier than expected.  Most of the photos where my hair wasn't covering my face, Peanut was facing the opposite direction sniffing around. Short hair is so difficult to deal with on blustery days.

On another note, I'm still not totally sold on rompers.  I was drawn to this one because of the rhinestones (I am a magpie), but it's so easy to look like you forgot to change out of your pajamas. I do think that this one is pretty though...I like the blue-gray color and I think the rhinestones make it less like a nightie.  And just to make sure it didn't look too pajama, I also threw on the summer parka and my go-to studded booties.

Pretty much dressed the opposite of what normal people would to the beach..but hey, we were at Ocean Beach, where it's almost always too cold to wear anything other than a North Face jacket.  Look how windy it was!

As if I haven't been obvious enough, my latest obsession has been playsuits.  This Top Shop onesie is the baby version of my Rachel Roy romper, so I couldn't resist treating myself when I saw it in Vegas last month!
