If it weren't for the leather jacket, this outfit would basically feel like pajamas.  There is nothing more comfortable than a good tee shirt and stretch jersey, amiright?

You might remember this skirt from this post on Whit. I have been jealous of hers all this time, so I was happy to finally find one! I decided to get it in gray to make it more casual so I could wear it in the day and not feel too dressed up (which is why I also paired it with a tee {that and so I wouldn't look like a vampire with so many dark colors}). I might be a little late on the whole draped skirt trend, but better late than never, right?

This tee-skirt-gladiator-sandal combo was my go to outfit this weekend in Seattle.  A little girly with a boyish edge, and not too fussy for travel.  When it comes to traveling, I look for maximum comfort, so I can have as much fun as possible!

Seattle was purely just for fun (would've been better had Mal come with me...!). I had never been and wanted to explore a new city. It was a great break from work and well, reality.  Decided to document my trip with my first Vlog instead of photos this time.  Sorry it's a little shaky.  Hope you enjoy all the food porn!

Sorry to bore you by wearing the same shoes/bag for the last couple of posts...but honestly that's pretty representative of everyday.  It's been warm, so the thought of lugging around a bag bigger than this/not wearing sandals is loathsome.  It's actually only been in the 70s, but I'm a big baby about heat.

I found this dress in a thrift store and even though it is pretty gigantic, I couldn't say no to something so shiny and colorful.  I just belted the crap out of the sucker.  Semi-successful, I think.

Ted Baker AW'13

Couldn't resist sharing with you some of our favorite looks from the Ted Baker AW'13 lookbook!  The luxe pieces are timeless and elegant with a modern edge and the hair and makeup is perfection.  It also helps that everything is so wearable (practicability is so important in our book!).  Now if only we could look this sophisticated on a regular basis..

Old Habits Die Hard

Remember when I said I was getting more into delicate jewelry? Well, I couldn't stray from my beloved oversized/bordering-on-tacky necklaces for too long so they are back in numbers.  They also brought backup - ridiculous sunglasses. At least I kept the rest low-key with my glitter espadrilles, right?

Sunnyvale

Everyday has been a foggy day in San Francisco lately, so I decided to escape to the South Bay to find summer weather.  The temperature difference just 40 minutes away from the city made all the difference!

Blustered

I took Peanut out for a walk/photoshoot and it was way windier than expected.  Most of the photos where my hair wasn't covering my face, Peanut was facing the opposite direction sniffing around. Short hair is so difficult to deal with on blustery days.

On another note, I'm still not totally sold on rompers.  I was drawn to this one because of the rhinestones (I am a magpie), but it's so easy to look like you forgot to change out of your pajamas. I do think that this one is pretty though...I like the blue-gray color and I think the rhinestones make it less like a nightie.  And just to make sure it didn't look too pajama, I also threw on the summer parka and my go-to studded booties.
