Mal realized recently that she had only selected gray sweaters to try on at the GAP.  It seems that we have been having a gray 'moment' lately.  It can go masculine (paired with black) or feminine (paired with white), so gray is the perfect staple. BRB while we go get more.

On a completely unrelated note, have you guys been watching Friends?  That question is mostly meant as a segue...OBVIOUSLY you are watching Friends.  Mal has been binge-watching and is already on season 9 (shhh!).  Just saying, shipping Rachel and Joey more than Ross and Rachel.

I have been dressing weird for quite a while now, and surprisingly my boyfriend is on board with most of the unique things I pick out. Not this coat though.  He just doesn't get it...it isn't flattering and looks like a dead animal (his words).  I think my muppet coat is funny though, so I'm keeping it.

Happy New Year!!  Sorry I've been MIA.  I've been indulging in new hobbies, aka becoming a mountain woman.  I went on an atypical Vegas trip this past week.  Instead of hanging out on the strip, I spent most of my time half an hour away at Red Rock National Park.  I can't even describe how it felt to be engulfed by the mountains.  I've never considered myself a very outdoorsy person, but bouldering has opened up a new world for me.  Instead of only sight seeing when I visit places, I can now literally get my hands dirty and have much more interaction with my surroundings.  With that said, one of my new years resolutions is to get good enough to top rope outdoors.  Another one is to blog more, of course.

By the way, check out this hat that I'm wearing!  If you look at it closely, you'll notice that it's the map of San Francisco.  I love the design.

It has a been a year of transitions for us - figuring out what we are doing with our lives, etc.  We haven't been able to see each other, let alone take photos, as much as we would have wanted.  Now that we (somewhat) have our stuff more together, we look forward to 2015! We plan on more photos and more time together! We are kicking it off with a nerdy game of Catan (and maybe Citadel) this weekend.
