mallory's productive week

so this week i have basically been crafting! i made six of the bib necklaces i wore in my last post and knit two circle scarves! (including the one i am wearing here). i feel very accomplished :)

i hope you all had a lovely holiday; i am pretty sure i gained a couple of pounds already...soooo many cookies. whenever i bake, i always manage to eat about a third of whatever i'm baking, which forces me to double recipes if i ever want to give some away. boof...so full.

i also have a comment about steve madden boots, who i am currently mad at! i have bought two pairs in the past two years, both of which have only lasted a year >:I . i had to replace my old riding boots with these ones, and i am kind of annoyed...has anyone else had issues like this? maybe i just walk like a monster leading me to wear them out super fast or something...

Mallory has left for france, but I'm still in Berkeley trying to find someone to sublet my room while I study abroad. People keep backing out at the last minute, and it's making me really angry. I still haven't found anyone yet :(

this was the last photoshoot before mallory and whitney go abroad. this was also the last day they got to see each other...eight months apart :(. it was also super rainy and dark (so hard to take pictures!!) before leaving, though we got our nails done and saw Tangled (wow, seriously how cute was that horse! he was so angry and adorable!). anyway, we will be posting while we are away, though it may be a bit slow in the beginning as we are settling in! we hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!

ketchup and mustard

hello all! so we both like to indulge in unhealthy food sometimes...a favorite (besides hot cheetos) being HOT DOGS! so what appropriate tights, eh? one time, when we were going to partake in said food, we went to a famous berkeley hot dog place and whitney had a traumatic experience. this hot dog place has lots of variety, and when it came whitney's turn to order, she asked which of the many options was a "regular" hot dog. the man replied (in a super sassy voice) does anything on this menu look regular to you?? mean...

but anyway, we still love hot dogs, and mallory managed to not get angry at this man and let him ruin hot dogs forever so its okay!

I love polka dots, but I love polka squares more! And remember this vest that I got a while ago? I'm finally wearing it haha..I think it's made of wool, so it's kinda itchy :( At least it's warm, and a pretty mustard yellow color!
