If you follow our Instagram, you probably saw we went a little overboard ordering from the Phillip Lim for Target collection. We are going to return some pieces (I've read a lot of people do this, so those of you who missed out, be sure to check your Targets!), but one we definitely won't be returning is the Sparkle sweater. It's chunky and soft, and we are never ones to say no to beading and rhinestones!

Max & co Styling

We were super excited to be invited to do the Max & Co. Styling competition.  We each styled looks from the latest collection (which, to our excitement, was full of colorful prints and rhinestones). Whit styled hers for the category "Evening," and Mal did "workwear."

Unfortunately we forgot our camera, so had to resort to iPhone...hence the graininess and a-little-bit-off colors. Believe us when we say the colors and prints are more vibrant IRL.

PANTS

I feel like calling these "pants" doesn't do them justice. More like "balloon trousers" or at least PANTS, all caps.  I once wore these to visit my family, and my brother upon seeing me said, "Mal, those are some....pants..." My sister's take was, "you look like a Golden Girl."  lol.

I have worn these pants multiple times, which I feel just proves that you shouldn't shy away from items that are cray because "you will only wear them once". At least for me, the more intense something is, the more I want to wear it over and over in different ways.

This skirt probably looks very familiar to you by now as it's making its third appearance on our blog.  Mal's gray one from Dailylook inspired me to wear mine again.  Sorry for the redundancy, but what can I say?  Mal always inspires me :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful labor day weekend!  I spent mine watching Suits (my favorite character is Louis Litt, btw) and going to a friend's birthday party with Mal.  I had a lazy, fun, and very exhausting couple of days.  On a positive note, the weather was amazing so I was able to wear this floral crop top, which is so cool in my opinion! Peplum, cropped, and floral?!  Yes, please.
