When I saw @bubbaandme wearing this fringed turtleneck on Instagram I was so excited to find out it was actually affordable (considering everything else she was wearing was designer!). I was extra excited to find out it was on sale as well. That being said, you get what you pay for and the quality is fairly atrocious. I would say worse than Forever 21. I still really like the style, but I don't expect it will hold up against the ravages of time and my laundering skills.

This is my travel-roadtrip-workout-anything outfit. Ever since developing an interest in bouldering and traveling, I've had to incorporate more athletic pieces into my daily getups to reduce hassle. Comfort and convenience above all, I still try to mix in a few more structured pieces so I don't look too much of a dirtbag when I'm not at the gym.
On this day we were exploring Seattle, our last stop of our west coast roadtrip. After checking out the Seattle Public Library and Gas Works Park, we made a visit to Seattle Bouldering Project. All I had to do was take off my sweater and switch into my climbing shoes!
The Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive is moving to this upgraded historic building on Center. I've loved watching how this building has gone up. Anyone who is familiar with the original building knows how blah it used to be. As a historic landmark, the main building had to remain intact, but they added this curved metal facade that looks amazing. It reminds me a bit of the Disney Concert Hall!
As we were taking these, one of the construction workers came by and mentioned that everyone has been taking photos lately (and suggested that we would get better light if we came by at 10:30 am). So, there is a tip for anyone who wants to take photos here :)
The 90s are back, people. I just watched that episode of Friends where Rachel's Dad doesn't like Ross and calls him 'Wethead' and Rachel is wearing a sleeveless turtleneck and looks surprisingly current. Or more accurately, we all look surprisingly 90s. Click the photos to go to the image source!
