When life gives you garlic, make pesto

On Mallory: Forever 21 poncho | Cotton On pants | HM cuff and earrings
On Whitney: HM sweater | UNIQLO jeggings | Dooney and Bourke vintage purse | Mallory's scarf

This weekend we went to the Garlic Festival and the Stern Grove Festival series.  We tried garlic ice cream, which is not as disgusting as it sounds.  After Garlic Festival, we went to the outlets to go shopping, and clothes were so cheap, they were basically free.  Mallory got her pants for 6 dollars and Whitney a necklace for 2 dollars!  Then on sunday the SF Ballet was performing at Stern Grove, but we went really late and only got seats at the very end at the show.  We were still really impressed by how they held up their legs... we got sore from just sitting on the cement for 40 minutes.  Don't worry we are going to the gym starting this week!

P.S. We are thinking of starting a tradition of one awkward photo per post....part one:

On Whitney: Romper from China | Zara pleated pants | UO sandals| vintage Dooney and Bourke.

Reunited and it feels so good! Whitney just got back from China, so today we went out to get Hello Kitty Yogurtland to celebrate. The Yogurtland window had a really cute “photo-op” with all the Sanrio characters, but a stranger was standing in the way so we couldn’t take a picture :(. Now that we are both in California we will be posting much more often, and most will probably involve us going to get all the food we missed while we were away. This post is the first of many.

p.s. here is a photo of us jokingly being serious :).

Toi et Moi Lookbook

Hey all, I thought I would share a couple of my favorite pieces from the new Toi et Moi summer lookbook from Dietchpr.   Their intricate design elements make basic shapes so unique and beautiful.  Every piece I look at seems to be the perfect balance between complicated and relaxed.

P.S. I am back in Berkeley now! ANNNNNDDDD Whitney is coming on Wednesday, so look out for a collab :D

thrifted crochet top | New Look scalloped shots | Coach bag | beaded Greek bracelet

Hey everyone, I thought I would share some photos from my Greece trip! I visited the island of Santorini, and it was AMAZING!  The island was beautiful, but the best part was the donkeys (one of my favie animals).  They all had pretty headdresses with beads and bells that you could hear as they wandered around the city. Plus, it was nice to visit somewhere inexpensive for a change!

playing with tigers

Sorry for being MIA! My study abroad program has finally ended and I’ve been making my way around Southeast Asia doing all sorts of exhausting but fun things.  If the photos aren't enough, just to give an idea, I've also been exploring ancient Cambodian temples, riding elephants, jungle bungee jumping, cliff diving, zip-lining, and mangosteen binging in Thailand.  As much as I wanted to have the amazing Cambodian scenery as the backdrop of some outfit photos, there was no way I could climb the steep temples in anything other than tennis shoes and clothes that I didn't mind getting dirty.  Tyra Banks should really consider taking america's next top model to Cambodia in the future though ;)
