I was ecstatic when I randomly discovered this mural last weekend (considering how often I visit Irving, I can't believe I never noticed it there).  It sums up some of my favorite memories growing up in San Francisco--from Irving street for snacks and boba to taking the Muni every single day after school.  And mhm..my home pretty much looks exactly as painted.

Birds of paradise

When I saw this shirt online, the cuffs at the wrist (which are ribbed) actually made me think it was a sweatshirt. I thought, 'well that print doesn't make sense for a sweatshirt,' and decided to get it anyway because (a) so what if it isn't logical (b) birds of paradise.  Turns out it is actually a shirt, so  the tropical print seems less misplaced.
