A lot of my closet is made up of neutrals...I literally have three similar gray turtleneck sweaters.  It's good to be consistent, right?  It definitely makes throwing together last-minute outfits easy. It also can make things feel a bit monotonous, however.  My go-to winter outfit has been sweater + jeans + boots...so it was nice to mix it up with this lace-up skirt (also worn here).

The small break in the rain today made it feasible to wear something different..finally.

We felt fancier than usual in this checked coat and these flowy culottes.  We were a bit overdressed for a casual lunch at The House of Pancakes.  Luckily these outfits were pretty forgiving (food-baby wise) because we pigged out on hand-pulled noodles,  green onion pancakes and dumplings.

Winter Maxi Dress

There are days when I want to wear a dress despite the chilly weather.  The trick is to layer.  I cheat by wearing leggings underneath.  I bet you can't tell I'm wearing leggings!

Excited to announce that French eyewear brand, IZIPIZI, has launched here in the US!  

We tried out the #D Screen and Sun.  

The frames themselves are flexible and light, which is nice if you tend to be a bit cavalier when taking on and off your glasses (we are).  These have great bounce and do not feel like they could break if you push the hinges a bit too far when you pull them off your face. I also liked the flexibility because I have a wider face....smaller frame glasses like these tend to be too tight on the sides of my face, but these were so light and flexible that they did not bother me at all.

The #D Screens are actually a really cool idea, especially if you work at a job that requires a lot of time in front of the computer. Screens emit blue light, which can strain your eyes and, if you are one to stare at your phone before bed, keep you awake at night.  These glasses will block out 40% off blue light emitted.  To double down on my blue-blocking, I also use Flux on my computer and the built-in phone equivalent!

Floral Bomber at the Boardwalk

When I first discovered this floral bomber at Target, I was obsessed.  I wore it so often that people  started teasing me about the number of times I had worn it within the week.  You'd laugh at me if I told you the truth!  Well, I find the floral print really cute and effortless.  I love throwing it over tshirt and jeans.  Here I layered it over a sweater to give me extra insulation during my visit to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  It was extra windy that day!
