It's our favorite time of the year! The cable cars and Union Square are all dressed up for the holidays and the ice rink is in full swing.  And the city isn't the only thing in the spirit, we are feeling pretty festive thanks to Macy's!

Come join us (and pick up your own fun holiday sweater) on Friday, December 16th at 5pm at Macy's Union Square.  There will be DIY ornaments and tasty holiday treats. Come drop by and say hi!

Fur(la)

On Mallory: c/o Furla Mini Metropolis, Banana Republic Faux Fur Scarf,  H&M Trumpet Sleeve Blouse and Distressed Jeans (old), Seychelles Marquee Boots

Our old college roomie East was here over Thanksgiving, and we all went out shopping in downtown.  I had seen this scarf previously and was in love with the color, but was even more excited that it actually came in 4 colors! I made Whit and East try them on and we each ended up getting a different color.  Looking forward to forcing our fourth college roomie to get that last color the next time we see her.

I wanted to issue a small correction to Whit's post about Furla...you can get the Metropolis bag with interchangable flaps and bodies, but you have to buy the special pieces individually!  The ones we are wearing are sewn together, and cannot swap out!

Yerba Buena

On Mal: A'GACI Mesh Tank (old, similar here), H&M Camel Coat (old, also love this one), J. Crew Lookout Skinnies , Nike Roshe Runs, Pour La Victoire Elie Crossbody

Photos by Jen Christo

Last weekend we had the pleasure to shoot with Jen (everyone should check her site and follow her on Instagram @jachristo).  We shot these at Yerba Buena Park, and luckily we were there early enough that it wasn't too crowded...only the Tai Chi people were there!

On a completely unrelated note, we watched Mad Max after many glowing reviews and it was insane. Definitely not a boring moment.  Whit was too horrified to even eat her popcorn.

Whitney giving directions to the mosaic stairs while Mal drives:

"You can't turn left so make a u-turn"
"What, a u-turn where?"
"You missed it, you were supposed to turn right. I meant right and then u-turn."

Max & co Styling

IMG_4608 IMG_4576 san francisco westfield mall, styling comepetion, max&co photo 2 photo 3 photo 4

We were super excited to be invited to do the Max & Co. Styling competition.  We each styled looks from the latest collection (which, to our excitement, was full of colorful prints and rhinestones). Whit styled hers for the category "Evening," and Mal did "workwear."

Unfortunately we forgot our camera, so had to resort to iPhone...hence the graininess and a-little-bit-off colors. Believe us when we say the colors and prints are more vibrant IRL.

Be sure to check out all of the entered looks at the downtown SF location in Westfield mall (2nd floor next to J.Crew) and vote for your favorite!
