When I was meeting up with Rene, I warned him I might look a little weird.
"I am wearing a giant sweatshirt, over a dress."
"okay.."
"...with pants."
"Are you trying to wear every single item of clothing?"
When he actually saw me he said that it actually didn't look as weird as he thought it would, because the sweatshirt and the tassels look like one piece (which is what I was going for. I knotted the straps to make the dress shorter).
I had originally wanted to wear the dress as a dress (no pants) peeking out from under a sweater, but decided the proportions of an oversize sweater and knotted pieces of string looked off. And also I get cold.
Ooh! Looks good! Master layering, haha. I would never have though to do that! I need to try layering weird things, haha

It really does look like one piece! I would have never thought you were wearing a sweatshirt over a dress. Adding tassels are an easy way to make an outfit look playful.
