Influenster sent over three Bite Matte Crème Lip Crayons, and as a lipstick-lover, I couldn't wait to try them.
Click through to see how I liked them!
Simple, modern packaging. Left to right: Glacé, Red Velvet, Cava
I don't wear lipstick everyday, but if I am going out (or taking photos)...I have a few go-tos. Lately I have been strongly favoring NYX Lip Lingerie liquid lipsticks, but the matte finish can be drying. Enter the Bite Lip Crayons.
The creamy texture is a good balance between matte and moisturizing. My lips were actually a bit chapped when we took these photos, but the crayons still went on smooth. The texture is true to the name, and 'sets' to a satin matte. Since it is a crayon, it can still smear unlike a liquid lipstick that sets/dries completely.
Heres my total breakdown:
Pros:
Moisturizing
Creamy texture
Well Pigmented
Cons:
Lasting power (needs reapplication after a couple hours)
The color pictured above is Cava. This is new and currently online-only. Of the three, this was probably my least favorite with my skin-tone. It made me look slightly corpse-y, but I think the color could be really hip and pretty on someone else.
Glacé. This one is my favorite. It is such a perfect color for everyday. I have started wearing it to cure and cover my chapped lips during this cold snap :p
Red Velvet. This is a super-pigmented siren red. I felt a little over-the-top in this, but looking at the photo I actually really like it. I think it would be perfect for holiday!

Ooh I love these! And I know what you mean about red velvet, those colors always look AMAZING in photos (and to other people probably) but I always feel like I'm standing out too much when I wear them, haha.
