Ever since picking up rock climbing, I've become quite a dirtbag.  I gravitate toward clothing that is outdoorsy and comfortable.  The problem is that I usually end up looking like I'm going on a hike even when I'm not.  That's why I'm loving this Filson jacket.  While it can work for the outdoors, it works just as well when I'm walking around the city.  My favorite part about it is that it's water repellent.  It's perfect for foggy/rainy San Francisco. I feel invincible!

As I have mentioned before, I have long struggled with my skin. You can read about my journey to clear-ish skin here.  Now that my skin is mostly under control, I am more focused on my acne scarring.  To be fair, I got away fairly easy...I don't have deep pitting, but I do have some texture on my cheeks as a reminder of my former acne. After a skincare consultation with a very knowledgeable nurse at Blackhawk Plastic Surgery, she suggested Vivace Microneedling to help with the scarring. Because my texture is fairly mild, microneedling is a gentler alternative to laser resurfacing.

Okay, back to our regularly scheduled programming (Rene is back from Cuba!).

I have had these sneakers for about a month now, so I can actually report about how they are holding up and how comfy they are. I am not one to be super careful about my sneakers, so I was pretty worried about keeping these pale sneakers clean.  So far, they are still looking new, although you can see a couple dirty marks on the stretch upper.  Comfort-wise, these have gotten more comfortable the more I wear them.  When I first got them, the left sneaker elastic loops felt a little tight (although the right shoe was fine).  I think they have loosened a bit, because both sides are now the perfect fit.  One thing I will say, is that with the design of this style (high sides, like a chukka), they can be hard to get on...you definitely have to use the back heel loop!

We've been a bit MIA...we know.  A couple of factors here, the biggest being that our photographer Rene has been in Cuba (!!!).  According to our Instagram feed, everyone is going to Cuba these days. Jealous.

Being inundated with everyone's beautiful Cuba photos, we have been daydreaming about vacations (and vacation-dressing). How cute are these lightweight straw and wicker bags?  Lightweight, so perfect for walking around all day when exploring a new city!  Especially love how Blaire manages to dress her's up and down..makes the Cult Gaia seem more practical for the price.
