Yesterday Mal's brother Tyler came up to Berkeley to shoot some photos for us and to give a quick photography lesson.  We have now learned that we have been using Whit's DSLR on the wrong settings this entire time!

This outfit kinda felt like pjs :).  As Whitney said, it has been a bit sad taking individual photos, but luckily we are getting together this Thursday and will be able to take some photos together!

Adjusting

It's been a week since I've moved out of our apartment and back to San Francisco.  I almost forgot how foggy and cold the city was, especially by Ocean Beach.  And I've missed living with Mallory.  Browsing through blogs and watching poor quality television (i.e. the bachelor pad) hasn't been the same without her.  Oh, and blogging too.

We've also finally caved in and created a Facebook page.  We would greatly appreciate it if you could like us here!

Many of you are probably still wondering what "Wat" means in "WhitWatWear." It's short for Mal's last name.  Only people who know us personally would be able to understand it immediately. Our new name will be revealed very soon!

Day two in NYC we wandered down to lower Manhattan.  We failed at waking up early enough to snag tickets to actually go to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty up close, but we think Mal's photo came out just as well haha (the SOL is the tiny thing in the third to last photo).

We're in New York!  Yesterday we wore these outfits to luckyfabb (where we got to see ManRepeller, Anna Sui, Simon Doonan, Rachel Zoe, and Lauren Conrad!).   Being there and meeting new bloggers confirmed that it is time that WhitWatWear gets a new name. Everyone we met had a hard time hearing/spelling it!  Having the parts of our names that are homophones for real words makes it too confusing (i.e. people tagging us as @Witwhatwhere).  So we are taking any suggestions you guys might have for a new blog name...hopefully you are more clever than us!

P.S. The progression of Whit's individual shots here remind Mal of the Stalking Cat.

Today we each wore a favorite piece that we recently added to our wardrobe.  For Whit, it's the kids batman tee.  Batman is the most epic superhero!  For Mal, it's the h&m choker.  Who doesn't love giant rhinestones?
