Last Sunday we spent the day together playing board games and eating and somehow fitting in some photos as well.  It was so cold, Whit was wearing two coats.  By cold we mean 50 degrees...but with wind chill! People who live in the snow probably think we Bay Area folk are a bunch of wimps.

We played King of New York, which was cute with all the different monsters.  Also you get to roll 6 die at once which is fun just on its own.  We also played Sheriff of Nottingham during which you lie to and bribe all your friends (Whit hates that one).  We are always on the hunt for new board games to play, so if anyone has any ideas, we are all ears :3.

I have actually been looking for a feather skirt, but could never find one in my price range...so I was pretty excited to find this furry one at FrontRowShop.  The fur has the same effect as feathers, but is more season-appropriate. Although seasonal dressing is not too relevant in the Bay Area...it was 70 degrees today.

I hope everyone passes a warm and happy holiday! Be sure to wear lots of rhinestones (I do anyway, but this is the time of year when my giant jewelry/sequins is actually appropriate).

P.S. There is still time to enter the Choies Giveaway...go go go!

This weekend we were all set to go to the reopening of our favorite Berkeley Chinese restaurant, Great China, only to have them delay the opening for a few days :(.  The original building had a fire a couple of years ago (while we were there!), and we have anxiously awaited for them to reopen ever since.

Seriously, if you are in Berkeley around lunchtime...go get the spicy garlic pork lunch special!
