INSPO // Statement Boots

We are loving all the statement boots we have been seeing...say yes to velvet and embroidery!! That being said, we have a huge problem with this whole 'shoes on the bed thing.' We are going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume all of these shoes are brand new and/or these sheets are for the sole purpose of photos and not for sleeping. We are a bit germaphobic FYI.

You can't go wrong in a Canadian Tuxedo...as long as your denims are two different washes.  To be extra sure I don't look like I am wearing coveralls, I like to wear a super light wash with a medium wash. Then to be extra, extra careful, I add a belt to break up the two.

Living in the Bay Area, we do a lot of walking..so it's not always practical to be running around in stilettos. Our go-to shoes lately are chunky-heeled booties. Sturdy enough to traverse hills and cobblestones, all while still adding height. We have been lusting after these pairs; we are suckers for unique details (those spots!).
